July 21st

Welcome to 102.7 the Troop. Finally, I am able to broadcast again. Turns out, long trips in the post-apocalyptic world are hard, even with transport from the group you're studying. Which brings me to my topic, the Saviors of Light. They are a group of people who are fighting, based somewhere in the Midwest, though I am not exactly sure where, due to the degradation of the cities and roads. Their leader goes by the name of Sebastian. They are mostly experts in melee combat, specialising in swords, axes, and machetes. Some do use firearms, but they usually conserve on ammo. Thanks to a close proximity to shopping centers, they have enough food to last years. They also do experiments on the infected wildlife in the area, their most recent find, a 1 year old bear that would have broken every pre-fall world record for bear size. That is all I have time for today, but there will be more on them tomorrow. Remember to tune into 102.7 the Troop, your only source for zombie news.

Jully 15th

Good morning, and welcome to 102.7 the Troop. Today is a sunny day, perfect for deer hunting. If you do go hunting, use a crossbow, but if you only have a rifle or hunting pistol, use a silencer. If you do not have a silencer for your hunting rifle, move quickly. The sound of a firearm is one of the biggest attractors of zombies. It can be heard for miles, and zombies know where it came from. When you get a deer, or other woodland creature, skin it quickly, and get as much meat as you can. You will most likely not get a second chance. Zombies will find the place you killed the animal quickly because of the use of a firearm. If you used a crossbow, you might get another chance, but every carcass is found eventually, and is totally stripped of everything. Cook the meat quickly as well, and cure it. Store it in a shallow pit with ice, and hay covering it. If you cannot get ice, than find a cool river and use a net to keep the food in the river without floating away. But as always, be careful. Remember to tune in again to 102.7 the Troop, your only reliable source for zombie news in the post apocalyptic world.

July 12th

Good day, and welcome to 1002.7 the Troop. Another wave of zombies swamped the station for the last few days, terminating any broadcast before we could make them. But now they are killed, and we are now broadcasting again. I have sent a correspondent to the group The Saviors of Light. They are a group doing research and helping out any military convoy in the area. In a week, I will personally head out to them, to conduct a full report, and bring it all to you. Tomorrow, we will go back to regular reporting. Remember to tune into 102.7 the Troop, your only source for zombie news in the post-apocalyptic world.

July 9th

Welcome to 102.7 the Troop. Today we have reason to believe that La Grange, Texas has been wiped out. Our coorespondant there has stopped reporting, after the rise in zombie numbers in that area a few days ago. We ask for a moment of silence. Today is the feast of Juno Caprotina, an ancient Roman fiest. Last night I saw a man get eaten. He had a portable radio/CD player on. That is what led the zombie to him. If you have those devices, do not play them unless you have headphones hooked up to them, or you are in a soundproof room. Remember this, and you will have a better chance of living. Remember to tune in to 102.7 the Troop, your only reliable sourse for zombie news in the post apocalyptic world.

July 8th

Good morning, and welcome to 102.7, the Troop. Due do recent increase of zombie numbers, this station was unable to broadcast yesterday. But we have eliminated the problem, and are now able to broadcast again. Before the fall, you could still hear late fireworks going off, but now, that does not happen. Why? The zombies will find the source, and if you're still there, they will find you. I have recently heard reports about web servers still working in some areas, and people being able to access web pages. One of the people had a computer with Fallen Earth on it, and he plays that now. I would not advise this because, A) It takes up energy, and you need to conserve your resourses, and B) The excess noise most generators make can attract one zombie, who can attract many zombies. Only use your generators for emergencies. Although, if you have a computer that runs on a hand crank, like those that were introduced in Africa in the early 2000s, then that would be ok. That's all for today, and remember to tune in to 102.7 the Troop, your only known source for zombie news.

July 6th

Good evening, and welcome to 102.7 the Troop. Over here, it is a nice day, not too hot, and not too humid. Perfect hunting weather. Zombie levels are down in the Houston area, but up in La Grange, Texas. Today is the feast day of St Maria Goretti and Romulus of Fiesole. Today's tip comes from a former chef I met in Des Moines. He taught me how to make a stir fry in the wild. You kill a deer, cube the meat, and brown it. Add some random vegetables that you have, and you have a stir fry. You can use anything metal with a curve, and any fire will do. And remember, as long as you live, there is still hope. Tune in soon, to 102.7 the Troop, your only known source for reliable zombie news.

Happy July 4th

Happy Fourth of July everyone, well, as happy as you can get in this world. Unfortunately, there are no parades, or organised 30 minute fireworks tonight, though some of you may be lucky to see a firework or a flare that a survivor has been saving for a special event, like today. If you do shoot a flare for non-rescue purposes, do it away from your safe area in a place with many escape routes. Zombies are attracted to the light, and are able to find the place of launching. People who have done this in an unsuitable area have been known to be found by zombies, and not be here again. But we should celebrate and not be as worried as we always are. But retain caution while celebrating, you never know what could happen. Happy July Fourth everyone, and remember to keep listening to 102.7 The Troop, your only known reliable source for the post apocalyptic world.
