Good morning, and welcome to 102.7 the Troop. Today is a sunny day, perfect for deer hunting. If you do go hunting, use a crossbow, but if you only have a rifle or hunting pistol, use a silencer. If you do not have a silencer for your hunting rifle, move quickly. The sound of a firearm is one of the biggest attractors of zombies. It can be heard for miles, and zombies know where it came from. When you get a deer, or other woodland creature, skin it quickly, and get as much meat as you can. You will most likely not get a second chance. Zombies will find the place you killed the animal quickly because of the use of a firearm. If you used a crossbow, you might get another chance, but every carcass is found eventually, and is totally stripped of everything. Cook the meat quickly as well, and cure it. Store it in a shallow pit with ice, and hay covering it. If you cannot get ice, than find a cool river and use a net to keep the food in the river without floating away. But as always, be careful.
